Giselle Millar

Cheshire born, half French, half English, Giselle graduated from the University of Salford with a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature and Cultural Studies. She moved to London to study Law at BPP Law School.

Since then, she has spent a year in South Korea, before deciding to embark on a career in executive search, working with search firms Principal Search and Sainty Hird and Partners, before joining Forrester Partners.

Why Executive Search?
I wanted a career which could afford me continuous learning, variety, travel, and interaction with high profile clients on a regular basis. Screening candidates and liaising with clients to report back market knowledge is interesting both from an investigatory perspective as well powerful, facilitating the development of long term business relationships.

What attracted you to Forrester Partners?
The desire to gain exposure to international projects as well as being introduced to new sectors. I can retain the experience I had gained in the financial markets and also build upon that. The renewable energy space is such a rapidly evolving sector as we are moving towards the post carbon technological era, it was such an exciting opportunity and an important one. Being with such a diverse team of individuals with shared attitudes and values makes this a fun yet professional place to work.

Other interests?
I enjoy painting and am part of an art group who meet regularly to both view new work by emerging young artists and also examine and analyse the current market.
