Daniel Muir joined Forrester Partners in early 2006 to focus on senior board appointments in the growing cleantech sector. He started his career with KPMG Corporate Finance in Edinburgh, then London, working with clients in the UK power sector. He moved into executive search in 1999 with global top ten firm TMP/Highland Partners. Daniel has a BA in International Economics and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow.
His experience incorporates cross border search for emerging and established equity investors, and he has completed over 30 C-level searches across the modern energy sector - he has also operated as an in-house consultant for one of the first major private equity funds making renewable energy and technology growth investments during 2002-2005.
